I would of just gone to the office supply cabinet and stole a Bic Ball Point Pen and took the spring out of it.

betcha it'd of worked fine too.

I pulled the spring out of stock and it ended being a $0.07 spring. So we even had it in the facility.

If the 'cost' was $2.5M, then isn't a new machine, which might double the output, easily justifiable?

Can ya make me some 5-40 fillister heard screws out of 1001 steel with a perfectly formed head shape based on a provided sample? I need about 10,000... :D

I do all my screw work without using machines. :D
