Cat fud probably has more controls by the FDA than human food does....

My mom once accidentally ate the cat food off a fork she thought was just her fork full of meatloaf. She did not like cat food.

Growing up with cats, I personally can't stand the smell of canned tuna fish, since it is very close in smell to "Fish-Feast" versions of cat fud. My wife eats canned tuna fish often, and when she does, I just meow in response to everything she says...

BTW - I have seen what cat & dog food is made of - even Science Diet and the like. You really don't want to eat it (unless you were going to starve to death).

Not all cats like mice....they do all lick their butts though ....maybe it was butt flavored :D

When I was a kid in Jr. High, some of us always brought our lunches and ate together. One big kid would bum a sandwich off of this one kid everyday. One day the big kid came and said, "Hey, let me have a sandwich." The kid who always had to give up a sandwich handed one over. The big kid took one bite, spit it out and said, "This is dog food." The other kid said, "Yep." That was the end of bumming sandwiches. So, I suppose it is easy to tell whether something is dog or cat food.

Similar story here. Worked at a Carbon Black
plant early 70's on summer breaks. There were 3 or 4 schoolboys then the regular guys some who had been there over 30 years. One guy probably 50, we thought he was old, would mooch off everyone. The schoolboy usually ate 2 tuna salad sandwiches. The 2nd he had put cat food in. In a lunchroom with 20 or so guys the old moocher sure enough asked the kid for his second sandwich. Sure enough 2 bites and he knew and was pissed off. Eveyone in there laughed so he couldn't do anything. He never asked anyone for anything the rest of the summer.
