anybody else seeing NE vs Chicago?

Sacred feces! wotta first half.

legion 12-12-2010 02:45 PM

I turned it on late and the score was already 21-0.

I wonder if Belicheet is listening to the Bear's radio. I wouldn't put it past him.

flatbutt 12-12-2010 02:49 PM

Chicago is makin' it easy though.

Rick V 12-12-2010 02:54 PM

It looks cooooooooooooold

legion 12-12-2010 02:54 PM

No arguments here.

strupgolf 12-12-2010 03:46 PM

Our station switched games to the Jets. It must be a bad thumping. Go Bears

flatbutt 12-12-2010 04:00 PM

yeah the conditions look brutal. how those lineman play with bare arms in this weather is beyond me. but then I'm a wimp.

Porsche-O-Phile 12-12-2010 04:37 PM

That's a whoopin'. NE is making a statement. Despite their not-so-great offensive line and poor pass defense, they're going to make a run at it and have a very, very good shot this year.

And to think - this was pegged as a "rebuilding year". Wow.

I guess the fact that they are the best team in the league has nuthin to do with it .....

I'm hoping New England is peaking too early.

James Harrison is under scrutiny and gets flags and fines because of his history, New England's success is questioned because of their history.

cbush 12-13-2010 04:37 AM

Was fun to watch:) But our station switched to the Jets game also- GRRRR!

M.D. Holloway 12-13-2010 07:11 AM

The Pats will go to the Big Place this year and prolly win IMO.

Taz's Master 12-13-2010 10:20 AM

They are a great team, with a historically good quarterback, and as close to unbeatable as a team can be at home, but they've got some winning to do before making a trip to Dallas. Any given Sunday and all that.

I reckon the Chicago Bulls were a great team with pretty good guard too :). The more I watch Brady... imo, he's right up there with Montana and a few other great ones.

Absolutely. I'm a Steelers fan, and although I wonder where NE would be if they had lost Brady for 4 games and he had to play with a broken foot and nose, I do not question his abilities.

Only by people who's judgment is severely clouded by an irrational hatred of success.

There are some who would point to the Jets spying on their opponent's signs, or the broncos spying on the 49'ers, or the jet's coach who tripped a player this past weekend, or the jets players being reprimanded and "trained" about sexual harassment, or what seemed like half of the cincinatti bengals getting arrested last season, and think other teams have more "ethical issues" than the patriots ever had.

But some folks have to ignore all that and only bash the patriots. They have to hate them the same way they hate Microsoft, IBM, and exxonmobil.
They act as if any organization that is so successful it dominates must be evil!

I on the other hand, respect success. I admire it and study people and organizations that are truly successful, so I can learn from them and emulate their success instead of admiring and making excuses for failure.

Yeah, I understand completely, like I said, I'm a Steelers fan. Their unparalleled success generates much of that hateful jealousy from those who support teams with fewer Super Bowl championships (the rest of the NFL).
