pecan pie is easy. i used alot of pecans and less syrup.

Looking good... My favorite.
Now, I'll have to get my wife to do one for X-mas. Tomorrow she is doing a few tourtiere; Tourtiere recipe and instructions recipe - Cooking School - Canadian Living This one is all pork. My wife does it using pork/beef/veal. If you ever would like to try it let me know and I'll shoot you her recipe and you can start a new X-mas tradition :) |

Yeah, patient just laid a home made pecan pie on me, this time of year it is like having dozens of grandparents baking for you. I love pecan pie, I love most pie to tell the truth.

If you want, I'll send you my recipe for Kentucky Derby pie (Chocolate-Bourbon-Pecan pie with a cinnamon graham cracker crust). It is a huge hit here during the holidays.
