Are you shooting for a kitchen career?

JJ 911SC 12-15-2010 07:05 PM

Looking good... My favorite.

Now, I'll have to get my wife to do one for X-mas. Tomorrow she is doing a few tourtiere; Tourtiere recipe and instructions recipe - Cooking School - Canadian Living

This one is all pork. My wife does it using pork/beef/veal. If you ever would like to try it let me know and I'll shoot you her recipe and you can start a new X-mas tradition :)

I haven't been eating sweets this holiday season as I don't want to gain weight.... but I would devour that pie in a heart beat!

Yeah, patient just laid a home made pecan pie on me, this time of year it is like having dozens of grandparents baking for you. I love pecan pie, I love most pie to tell the truth.

If you want, I'll send you my recipe for Kentucky Derby pie (Chocolate-Bourbon-Pecan pie with a cinnamon graham cracker crust). It is a huge hit here during the holidays.

I baked pies number 3 and 4 this year for Thanksgiving. Remember, when the going gets tough, the tough eat pie.
