Would you let someone shoot a watermelon off your head???

Too bad Johnny Knoxville didn't think of this first!

I can't call it a day without letting you in on a little secret. Those guys are not really that stupid.......they just went to a lot of trouble to make it appear real.

THere is a little window that pops up at the end of the video that says it's fake.

But on the original question, not just "no", not just "hell no" and not "hell farking NO"

I don't care if the guy is the militaries best sharp shooter or an olympic sharp shooter, or even a crazy white boy from Ary-Zoney with lots O handguns.

I'm a decent shot, and I wouldn't even want to be on the other side of the gun. Gives me the heeby jeebies just thinking about it.

The words shoot and my head don't belong in the same sentence except this one.

I would do it because I like to live dangerously an' I wanna die doing something I like rather than live a benign life and have my fkng heart attack me when I'm not looking or have a fatal seizure in the middle of composing a stupid fkng PARF post!

But that's just me.

An' I WANNA BE ME! So, FK U!

ya the idea of a piece of metal shredding into my scalp and blowing out the back of my head is just a really miserable thought

I thought about this last night and I have to say that there is only one person I would trust to do this and that would be my Son. He is a pretty good shot but I also know that if given the task and lets say he had to do it or I would be killed - he could do it and I would trust him and him only. But say he missed and skull capped me, well I would hope that he would know that I went to my grave understanding the risk and also that I trusted him and only him and that I was fully aware of the potential opportunity for failure.

I just don't see the point in doing something like that. I used to be a daredevil, but this kind of BS never even entered my head. Who thinks this stuff up?

A watermelon is one thing.
An apple is a smaller thing.
A grape?

What's the upside? Given the proper incentive, and me picking the shooter...no problem.

Otherwise...no thanks!

Off the head.........

I did see a demo once where a martial artist kicked an apple off of a head with a jump spin heel kick. He hit the apple hard enough to splatter it into a thousand pieces! If he had missed the apple and hit the head there is no doubt that the owner of the head would have been toast!

Would you let someone shoot a watermelon off your head???

Why don't Larry King or John Stewart ask probing questions like this?

I thought the guy looked familiar. If you go on youtube proper and look at his other videos, you'll see a bunch of SFX studies he did. Not bad for an amateur I think.

A trained shooter with a .50 from 100yards? Not a good idea to be sure, but probably not the risk some might think.

Well, I have a match grade 50 BMG and I can cut the same hole with it at 100 yards and I'm really not that great of a shot.
So I guess it comes down to how much you trust the person behind the trigger.
I don't trust anyone that far.
