I lived in P'cola when I was younger (Dad was in the Navy). I've been there a bunch of times, but not in many years. Used to watch the Blue Angels (before they were F18s, A6 or A7?) on their home turf.

I haven't been there in a bunch of years. THanks for the post.

Outstanding photos. Especially liked the ones of the restorations in process. Thanks much for sharing.

We went over and spent the day there 2 weeks ago. If I'd known you were going to post these great pics, I'd saved a trip!

Close, they fly F/A-18's presently. In the past they have flown F-4 Phantoms and A-4 Skyhawks.

The natural and artificial lighting is so much better than Dayton-Wright in Ohio.

The 2x4 lay-in ceiling and prefab-like building structure is forgivable.

Awesome photos of awesome aircraft.

The Phantoms, now those were the good old days!!! If anyone goes to the museum, the old Pensacola Lighthouse is near the museum and has been restored and is open for the 177 foot climb. Well worth it for the view.
