There was a Pearl Jam song about him a few years ago. Judging by his posts, he seems a lot less messed up than he appeared to be back then...

My brother wants a steel guitar pretty bad. Saw one in a pawn shop in Houston that I was going to buy him for Christmas one year, but it was too pricey. Got him a gas tank for his Sportster instead, which was less than half as much as the guitar.

I really wanted to find him a double guitar, like Junior Brown has, Tele+Steel. very groovy, but sadly also very one-off custom as well.

Don't know who Jeremy is and never heard of big head Todd and the monsters.
Iffn he's the cat playing the steel, he's very good. Happy now? ;)

Not that his tone sucked cause, frankly, it's awesome... but man, i sure wish I did lap steel pickups.
