Unknown cars on IMCDb.org
I like to look through Internet Movie Cars Database (IMCDb.org) to try to identify cars in movies. As a history buff and car guy, this is nerdy fun. Anyway, they have an unknown car page (IMCDb.org: List of unidentified vehicles) with some to-be-identified models. If you like a challenge, check out the really early movies. Here are a few from various years just for fun:

don't know what the firetruck is in the second photo, but that is w.c. fields on the left in white with a straw hat.
the movie is called "it's a gift". hysterically funny. see it. third looks like a midget or a.h. sprite. '53 sounds right on the forth one. |
Cool site, thanks.

The red car in the dark looks like an Austin Healey Sprite. I lightened it to get a better look...

(Edit: nevermind... Steve saved it to lighten it and named it Sprite... wasn't that way in the OP.) Is it from "Diner?" I remember there was a red sports car in that flick... and I think it was British. |
It was a TR3... just checked IMDb.com and watched the trailer.
