Anniversary today.
Yes, anniversary day, home from Vietnam, out of the Marines, Dec. 22, 1968, it was a good Christmas, met up with an old girlfriend and got some wishes filled the day I got home.

I remember that day, because I went from single digits to double digits in age. Your's sounds more memorable, though. I didn't get a girl for my 10th birthday, but then I probably didn't want one, either.
