Hey Paul, I've recently been recruited into the local league up in Montana. Haven't played seriously for 20+ years, so working my way back into it. My neighbor has 2 tables and we play marathon 10 hour matches a couple times a week. He's a much better shot than I am, so I usually play defense (try to control the table), which is very stressful. Addicting!

Your last word says it all! I know "everything" is against me...eyes, age, etc. But I keep plugging away...make a good shot, or hook my opponent...and it's as satisfying as many things I've done in the past...
Reyes is pushing 60 now..claims to be thinking of retirement because he feels he's "losing it"... Man, so many players would love having 20% of his skill... (edit) I forgot you were in Montana.. Say hi to Don "Cheese" Akerlow for me, okay? You'll be bound to run into him sooner or later. Nice guy who knows the game well. (another edit) If you get to the point of thinking of a custom stick, be sure to check out Montana's own John "Jack" Madden...he makes great playing cues.
