2nd Annual PPOT Holiday Gift Exchange
OK, now that Thanksgiving is over and the holiday season is underway, as initiated last year by Jim/Dueller, it's time to start the 2nd Annual PPOT Christmas Gift Exchange. (Oh, and Happy first day of Hanukkah to the Yarmulke-clad out there.)
The rules are simple: 1. You're giving a gift (anonymously, if you wish) to another Pelican. You'll know who they are, but they will only know who YOU are if you tell 'em. 2. Your gift can be anything...you already have in the house. No going out and buying anything. You've gotta already have it lying around. 3. Shipping of the package is limited to $5, or thereabouts. This is not meant to be extravagant--it's meant to be fun. 4. Gift should arrive to recipient by Christmas. Gift is not supposed to be opened (unless there are extenuating circumstances) until Christmas. 5. Post the gift you receive online. So there you have it. If you're interested, PM me your name and address (or work address, or wherever you want your gift sent). I'll draw the names out of a hat randomly and assign each participant (the gift giver) another Pelican (the recipient). Have fun and Happy Holidays. Who ever gets me as their secret Santa will be a little disappointed... Since Maggie had her litter of pups last night your gift won't arrive until mid January... Don't worry, I will overnight the package to insure the shelf life of the product...

You may want to limit this to 50-100 people. It was mighty succesful people last year and you don't want to become swamped. And yes, I am in.
