Not my project, but one of our groups has been hacking on the Kinect interface to experiment for applications in training and healthcare. A video he did on using it to drive World of Warcraft has been picked up and is getting a lot of attention. Cool stuff. That group already uses various motion sensors and game environments for treating stroke patients, PTSD, and TBI.
