Congrats to the Washington Huskies
For the bowl upset of the season. Huskies played their hearts out while the Nebraska guys must have been asleep, thinking it would be an easy win like their blow-out early in the season.
Anyway, mighty Nebraska whupped by a 6-6 PAC 10 team. Who woulda thunk it?

Thanks Paul. Was a good game to watch, just can't figure out why they let the clock run out the last minute 30 when they were knocking on the door?
Huskies were on their game, even with 2 missed field goals. Neb, couldn't do anything right.

Any idea where Locker is going to play on Sunday? Man, the Seahawks could sure use him...though I don't know if he'd be happy there. Sure would be a fan favorite, though.
Probably just being kind to the Cornhuskers by passing up a final and uneeded touchdown. For sure, Nebraska would NOT have returned that favor. Showed class, IMO.

Go Dawgs!
I don't think the Hawks will get Locker, but it would be nice to see him lead that team. I think they are stuck with Whitehurst. |

Nebraska will be a tough place to live until next spring when the hype starts all over again. I lived an hour north of Lincoln 12 years ago. Was scolded by an elderly woman when I tried to talk to her husband minutes before his Saturday afternoon hip fracture surgery. "Do you have to talk to him NOW????"
There were a LOT of folks there who had lost perspective...a few bad years of Husker football may have brought it back but I'd be suprised. I actually felt sorry for the players in the tough years. |

I"ve been a fan of the Cornhuskers for over 40 years, but I lost all respect for them this year because of their ******* coach, Bo Pelinni. That game againt Oklahoma I think, was a grim view of a man who lost control of the program this year. He and his brother have to go. I'm not happy they lost, I did not see the game, but if it makes them better, great.

Wow really? Damn missed it. Good for Washington. There in-lies the problem with the bazillion bowl games. Half the teams don't give a daggum.
