Me either, really. I just had too good strong shots from my Handpresso...Not the best espresso, but it is the best I can get in this city...

I've got a new machine on order. Rancilio Silvia Version 3.

You want serious caffeine content? Get some ground Illy coffee, and make it in a french press. You can see through time.

If you don't mind tedium, try a mypressi. Uses BB-gun style CO2 cartridges to make pressure.

=1 on the Handpresso. I also have a Francis Francis X1 fr when I hav time or want cappucinno.

The handpresso makes you work for it! You pump the unit up to 16bar then insert hot water and an E.S.E. pod. Press the valve and it releases the pressure to push the hot water through.

Nothing to add, other than to compliment you on your use of "espresso", and not "expresso" :)

Hand-pumped espresso!? That's a pretty good idea, really.

Lane -- great picture. What machine is it?

16 bar? Man that must take a while!

I can't bring myself to work that hard at home; I'm just a button pusher.

One of very few things I miss about my old job is working in Miami.

Cuban Coffee.

Nothing else is needed.
