what did i volunteer for?
 

So we have a theft problem at work when we are closed for the break... as a result, we all take home laptops, projectors, etc.

This time, I volunteered to let my daughter invite a few friends over for movie day... today. Wife is gone with the son and newborn, and I'm here at the house watching "Ramona and Beesus" with 5 10 year old girls on a "big screen" (about a 10ft showing) ...

Please keep me in your thoughts for the next few hours...

For the love of all things holy, man! Do NOT let them break out the Justin Bieber or Jonas Brothers videos!!! :-o

when they leave, play some man-film to erase the giddiness.

A 12 hour hissy-fit is what you are in for.

For kicks leave a bunch of coca-cola and chocolates out to really get 'em going.

Ha - my daughter (4) had a friend sleep over Thursday night and we had to watch Ramona & Beesus yesterday morning. I know you pain all too well!

Enjoy the time you have with your daughter at this age. It all goes by way too fast!

OK, survived Ramona and Beesus... give them some sugar (Ice Cream - Drumstick flavor by Edy's) and me some coffee, starting Sorcerer's Apprentice...

Toss in a beavis and butthead then send them home to the parents! hey its a cartoon sort of

It has turned into a sleep over... only 2 guests though... movies still going ... have a beer left in the fridge...

I must say that they have all been fantastically behaved and well mannered.
