Found a bike near Philadelphia - calling any Pelicanites

I found a dual sport motorcycle I want to buy. I emailed several days ago (day after it was listed) and had no response. The ad doesn't have a phone number. He probably doesn't want to ship or thinks I'm a spammer.

If anybody near Camden, NJ wants to help out a Pelican brother, I'd be grateful.

From what I remember Camden made Detroit and Gary Ind, look nice.

I'm in NJ and my folks want to go the Camden Aquarium Monday, but I'll probably pass. It is one of the worst neighborhoods in the country. I'd be surprised if your seller is on the up and up.

Selling a 1999 DR350SE with 9,xxxx easy miles on it(95% street). Bike is very clean and runs strong. Has a Racetech front and rear suspension which is set up for a 200lb rider. New UFO front fender and Acerbis "Bark Busters". I bought the bike and started to set it up more for dirt, but the old owner, female used it for the street. $1,600 firm, no trades and cash only. No test rides unless I have $1,600.00 in my hand to hold. I have a clean NJ title for the bike.

If it doesn't happen, no sweat. Another bike in the queue is a Yamaha WR250R in SC. It's the twin brother of the yamaha above minus the supermoto wheels.



Nice farkles, all stock parts. $4100 OBO. Only thing is I don't want to spend more than $3000-3500. I'd rather buy a cheap bike and spend the bucks on gear for all seasons. Damn, it's hard finding clean bikes that aren't halfway across the country.

hold on, is it in Camden or is that just a recognizable city. i know cherry hill is kinda nice.
plus there are no lawnmowers in Camden.

I admit being naive at times, but is the market for 11 year old dual sport bikes that enticing?

According to Google maps the town is 20 miles from Camden/Philadelphia. Down here, 20 miles is nothing. Up there, it might be a 2 hour drive.

Please check your local licensing laws before proceeding too far. In my state, a WR Yamaha cannot be licensed for the street and is considered a "dirt bike", not a "dual-sport".

IIRC Atco has some nice trails within a short drive. BUT likely has to be trailered
