Can I ask you just one question?

Was there anything you wanted to do but didn't because of what the people around you said to you at the time?
Like becoming a cop or joining the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines... CIA... FBI... DEA ???

(Personal question I know... I'm asking because I'm contemplating a career change at 45)

Yes. I would have learned to fly. I love planes and I would have been a pilot in a heartbeat. But I was too busy being a hippy musician. Still I have no regrets. Being a musician has given me a very full life filled with lots of great memories.

I have about 10 hrs in a glider, but I think it would be money wasted to go further than that at my age. Fixed income ya know?

Like you at 45 I have no regrets... But I'm looking for more from this life than what I have right now.
