Solidworks engine case CAD file?
Does anyone here that uses SW or some other form of 3d modeling have any idea where I can locate a CAD file for a M64.5 or M96.7 based 3.6L based engine case?
It doesn't have to be anything terribly accurate as it's just a goof around project I concocted here a couple days ago while assembling the 996T motor here. I have alot of other misc parts to mic up but the only case I had here was the one for the motor being built now. I use SW for software, but could import different variants of course. Any ideas? I'd be willing to toss someone a little bit of $$ towards their coffee/beer fund for the help :) Thanks! |
I work with Sketchup. I could build you a model, but I wouldn't want you to machine anything off it (use at own risk).

I wish I could get a real version of Solidworks. My student edition only lasted a few months.:(

I digitized one a few years ago.

What app did you use?

I use SW too, let me see if I can get a hold of one in parasolid format for you.
