I used my about a month ago to get my TWIC card (transportation worker's identification credential).

the signature on mine is from when i was maybe 10yrs old when my parents finally gave it to me. i think they got them for us kids shortly after we were born. my signature has changed quite a bit in the 30+ years i have had it in my posession. never been asked for my card. well maybe when i was 16 getting my first drivers license and needed a couple of id's and that and a birth cert. was all i had then.

I actually signed up and "sold" those to make some money. I was about 11 or 12 (5th grade). I think I collected something around $8 each, then sent in the form with the customer's info and $5, keeping $3 profit. I think I sold 4 or 5. :(

Legally its not to be used as an ID card, thats in the original statutes.
