Iphone Sleep Cycle

Interesting application it seems. Anybody tried this?

Sleep Cycle Analyzes Your Sleep Patterns for a Better Wake-Up

iPhone only: Getting jolted awake by your alarm in the middle of a great dream is a drag. The Sleep Cycle app watches your slumbers and wakes you when you're lightly dozing, instead of right before you win the lottery.

Very cool but I wonder how does it handle couples?

Does it pick up your partners movements?

Sleep Cycle uses your iPhone's accelerometer to monitor your movements during the night and determine when you're most likely in and out of a dream state. . .
BWHAHAhahahaha. . ....

oh man, sleeping with your phone - that is so filled full of fanboy wrong.

. . . I'm surprised the app doesn't monitor rectal temperature.

My iPhone is on the bed next to my pillow. So was my blackberry before it and my motorola before that. It's my alarm clock

But not in bed with you... I don't think this would work sitting next to you.

no way this can work.. well for everyone anyway. Maybe if you move around a lot, but I barely move and a lot of times, wake up in the same side/position when i went to sleep.

I've used it, not that impressed. It won't run in the BKG so I can listen to music, etc as I go to sleep. Like Garret I keep all my phones laying on my bed next to me, so that wasn't a problem...

I'm really interested in what you guys think is gonna happen to you that you need to have your phone in the bed with you.

Apparently the app programmers figure that their customers/users/app-fiends are (of course) sleeping alone. ...and are likely already spooning with the device.
