i'm still laughing. i took my BIL and wife to gun range.

my BIL stepped up and took care of my home during the holidays. cats, chickens, birdfeeders, hummingbirds, garden..FISH! poor guy had his hands full. hope he got laid in the guestroom (he lives with parents)

i wanted to say thanks and finally took him out for lunch and a day at the range. i bought so many 9mm ammo, and about 250 .45. quick shots with the glock .45 and he hated the cannon. he stayed with the 9mm.

here is how the day went..my wife with the sig was shooting an honest 5-6" group @15 yards. she had two flyers! TWO! she shot maybe 50 rounds and got bored.

i stayed with the glock to get more familiar. my grip sucked and my group went left. and wide. i rallied, checked my grip and stance, nestled my fat head into my right shoulder (dont know the name of that position), and got absolutely deadly!! i shot a ragged 4" hole in the middle of my initially scattered target. with the sig: lighter recoil, better trigger..it was excellent!! what a gun!

my BIL..he was all over the place. he didnt take lessons well. he shot consistently low. he shot so low that he hit the bottom rail..alot. the bullets would fragment and cut the target. he left about 1" of material on the bottom of the cardboard target holding the bottom..he almost disconnected the target from the clips at the bottom.

it was awesome.. the range master called a ceasefire and we retreive the targets..the maniacal laughter coming from my cute wife as she was pointing to her brother's target was super funny. some of the neighboring groups got infected and started to laugh too. my BIL is a great sport and didnt flinch (well he did when he shot). he said, "when the meteor hits or the zombies invade, he will stay in back an reload our magazines"..

I am often told that you do not want to be to the left, the right, above or below whatever it is that I am shooting at.

I love it. Nothing better than non-shooters shooting. I had a bunch of head-bangers shooting at my place this summer. I almost wet my pants laughing and I am glad there were no deaths.

The pistol grip on that 26" barrel is a nice touch.

I think it all comes together nicely - a picture is worth a thousand words.
