11:45

Sitting in my home office.

Working on a project for a client in NY.

Having a dialogue with a distributor in Australia on a different project but he'll likely end up working on the NY clients project as well but he'll never know I'm the same guy.

Aussie guy is looking for assets for the product that he is distributing for us but we are buying finished goods from our partner in Germany even though I'm the one building the assets that he'll turn into finished goods to sell back to me.

On my 4th or 5th glass of wine which is not helping me concentrate on the French document I'm working on. Was going to tackle the Spanish one tonight as well but F' it.

Wife is out cold so forget that.

I tell ya, I'm living the dream.

Peace.

Wish I was on that title. I'd be retired. First one I ever worked on was Mortal Kombat for SNES.

I had forgotten you were in the gaming industry, writing code IIRC. That would explain the smoking. :)

And the coffee and the valium.

I love me my valium.

Only reason my co-workers are still among the living.;)

not 11:45 here yet. Practicing Steely Dan tunes, trying to quit the charts for all of them. Have about 2/3 of them memorized, but a couple of them are likely going to remain "readers." Too damn many changes.

Also booked a regular Sunday night jazz gig. Only problem is the funk band rehearses (well, used to) on Sundays. I'm not a popular guy in certain circles at the moment. Thank gawd for xanax...

slodave 01-11-2011 10:46 PM

No. I tend to stay away from that stuff. The beer I drank tonight is a different story.

enzo1 01-11-2011 10:50 PM

yea me to, what kind of beer?

slodave 01-11-2011 10:54 PM

I started with "Paranoids" pale ale at lunch. A local Mammoth brew, had a couple other local ales and ended the night with a few Fat Tires. Then there is the altitude I am at currently. Weeeeee!

enzo1 01-11-2011 11:11 PM

been a long time since I had a Fat Tire seems like it was pretty good. I like stout dark beer no lights... car bombs are good...1/2 oz. Irish Cream (Bailey's)
1/2 pint Stout (Guinness)
1/2 oz. Whiskey, Irish (Jameson)
Mixing Instructions
Pour half a pint of chilled Guinness into a beer mug and let it settle. Take a shot glass filled with 1/2 oz. of Irish whiskey on the bottom and 1/2 oz. of Irish cream on top. Drop the shot glass into the Guinness and chug.
