site not showing up on google?
Our site (ict.usc.edu) seems to have fallen off the google map. Previously (weeks/months ago?) when you would google for instance my name and ICT, a number of our pages would come up. Now, zero ict.usc.edu hits come up. Same with projects, etc. IT is shrugging their shoulders, but seems to me something must have gotten reconfigured. The site is built in expressionEngine, but I don't think any of that config has changed and everything used to show up.
Any ideas on where to look or what might have changed? |
Are you sure you still exist?

I'm never sure of that...

works on firefox

no, I mean if you do a google search. We figured it out - evidently a spammer got into a directory and mucked with a few pages. Google's spider found it and put us on a "no index" list. Viola - we don't exist in google searches.

I saw Todd once, but it was a long time ago and it was at a show in vegas and he was onstage with a guy named Lance Burton.
