Been watching the hype for awhile. 22mpg(epa) unloaded, and 11K towing's pretty impressive. It's on the top of my list when I need a new truck. I haven't heard anything abnormal about that motor in a SHO or Flex either.

Is that the same V6 that goes into the Mustang?

I may be in the market in a few years.

What is particularly impressive to me in this demonstration is the engine retained within 1 horsepower and the same torque after all this testing. This testing is best described as torture. A whole lot of lesser engines would have spit the bit long before this one even finished it's test.

Alot of years have gone by since I've been proud of an American car company.

I'll say this now - I am PROUD of Ford. This and many of their recent vehicles are proof that an American company can build a worthy machine.
