I'm riding out to LA early Wed. morning (01/12) and have nothing to do that night and Thurs. night. Not sure where I'm staying yet (probably Pasadena), but can meet anywhere. Friday night I'm in Irvine. Sat. I plan to hit Cars & Coffee in Irvine bright and early and then NAMM. I'll be back in LA Sunday if anyone wants to hang that night. Mon. I ride to Vegas for work and will be at SHOT on Friday, 01/21. Buehler, anyone? Orange whip?

I pick Shirley up at the airport Wed evening. Not sure if she'll be up for dinner afterwards - probably not free until after 8pm. Thu I've got the boy but could slip out for a drink especially if it is near Santa Monica. Friday night we play in Santa Monica. I'm at NAMM maybe Thu and likely Sun (though Sat is possible). I actually don't have rehearsal Sun night so dinner might be possible then.

Ok, let's meet in Santa Monica Thurs. night. I love Big Dean's Muscle Bar at the Pier. But I'm open to other suggestions. I'm done early Thurs. If anyone else is a sushi nut, Gin in Pasadena is amazing and I'll go there Wed. night.

Well. we drove in from Vegas yesterday. NAMM is gearing up already & since I am working the floor, I will be riveted to the Anaheim area until Monday. Hall A - 6998 & Hall E - 1025. Audio Plus Services. My wife & I are going to Universal today for R & R but the rest of the time will be setup, the exhibition & breakdown. She leaves Thursday but I have local after hours meetings, smoozing, eating & drinking to do.

In other words, I won't have an opportunity to break free. Stop by if you come. If I wander off, just ask one of our guys. I am sorry I won't be up for carousing elsewhere.

Ok, back at my hotel now after one of the worst traffic nightmares I've ever seen in LA and that's saying something. Gawd, it's 9:30pm and it's still bad out there. I won't be online much tomorrow, only able to check email notification on my iPhone between meetings. If you guys want to grab some drinks in Santa Monica, let's make a plan. I can meet wherever is convenient for most. I tried to go to Pasadena tonight, but gave up when I saw the line to get onto the 10 eastbound and so went west to Santa Monica. I got to Big Dean's just after their kitchen closed and I was starving. So pissed. My work cell is (202) 340-8626, but I'll be on the bike and in meetings for most of the day.

yeah, freeways looked bad on the maps tonight. Usually Thu is the worst but such is LA. Let me know a time and I can swing down to Big Dean's tomorrow or someplace else if that is better. I need to stay local in SM if possible as I've got the boy.

Turns out Sunday evening I have a gig at Brennan's Pub in Marina del Rey from 8-10pm. Could do an early dinner on Sunday and anyone is welcome to head to Brennan's and hang.

We set up our Namm booths, did a Guitar Center run for supplies, had a product training (learning mics) & off to Huntington Beach for sushi. Shoe starts tomorrow at 9:30 (for Hall E). Shows are only fun for show-goers not the staff that work them . . .

BTW it looks like I will cover 1025 in E for the next two days. We borrowed a Strat from Fender & an amp & speaker from Orange. Fun, fun.
