I know I would die.... I'm notorious for mucking things like that up. I'd clip a tree and it would all be over with....

I love these videos...the scene arching past the overlook house is classic.

I'm going to go research the suit loading, glide ratio and speed of these aviation studs.

There is nothing not to like about these folks...the routes are well planned, the gear looks right and I'd like nothing better than to learn what they know.

As an old helo guy, reminds me of ten feet and 140kts, happy.

+1...... This has to be the ultimate adrenaline rush. If I ever get diagnosed with a terminal illness, I am going to be all over this like stink on poo. :D

The only way to get you off the mountain is with a sponge.

You could OD on adrenalin, Looks like a fun way to burn in.

Crazy people are good entertainment.

widgeon13 01-17-2011 01:18 PM

I don't fly that close to fixed objects in a powered aircraft, certainly wouldn't do it in silk pajamas.

Z-man 01-17-2011 01:29 PM

Betcha soon they'll be able to stick a landing without a chute. Now that would rock!

-Z-man.

widgeon13 01-17-2011 01:30 PM

They can do it now, but it the LAST one!

pete3799 01-17-2011 01:44 PM

I'd have a cardiac arrest and drop like a sack of potatoes.

I really don't think they are crazy, at least unhinged crazy. Everything I see from multiple videos is well planned, well executed. The one turn left, around the rock and into the valley is the most radical maneuver, and it is no more than 15 AOB.

Falling with style.

Cameras are integrated, the air looks perfect (little turbulence, good air), the wing (suit) loading and stability is rock steady...I just have to hand it to these folks.
