Question When was the last time you got ripped off?

Been a couple of years now, had a truck shipped and paid for enclosed shipping and didn't get it. Dependable Auto Shipping , stay away from them.
What's your story, big or small.

I don't think I ever have been ripped off by a seller or a buyer.

I sold an Audi S4 to a well-known local Audi tuner. He stripped the car and sold it for parts and never paid me. It was over a year of excuses. Then he went out of business. I still have the title, but I'm out a few grand.

Almost a year ago exactly:

Pelicans in San Francisco?

I might be getting scammed on an eBay purchase in San Fran.

I did get my $$ back, but not the years it took off my life from the stress and frustration.

I bought a license plate holder last weekend...got it home and it was too small for the license plate. Aren't all U.S. plates a standard size, what kind of company makes a plate holder that wont hold a plate?

I sent my ex-wife to a medical facility in San Diego. Paid for it with three charge cards. Lots of ugly details kept private, but suffice to say they screwed up BIG TIME. In an epic, 6 month battle I got one credit card company to issue an $11,000 charge back. In the mean time, I got the agency that regulates these places to investigate and they suspended the facility's license for a while. While our case was being investigated, the second card charged back the $5000 I put on it. The third card used Cardmember Services of Fargo ND as a acquirer so I was screwed. Even though the facility was temporarily put out of business and fined for what they did to us, Cardmember Services decided they deserved to be paid and refused to run a charge back. So I was out $9000. If you carry a card that says Cardmember Services Fargo ND on it in the fine print, beware. They serve the banks, not the card holders.

I thought A&P had a good rep based on what I've read on MNAudi.

I've been screwed e few times over the years. I think it was usually small stuff. I don't think vie ever paid and not gotten something, but I've paid and gotten crap. I can't even remember any specific instances. I think most of them have been because I did something stupid and should have known I was screwing myself. My father in law talked each of my mother in laws daughters into buying a timeshare. I've donated to e various police/firemen funds years ago. Not much, but still... Now, I'd only consider giving money to the firemen in uniform that occasionally grace intersections, or maybe the Houston Police have a charity that they advertise on the police cars. Never again to the cold call telemarketer types.

I'm sure their reputation was why their landlord changed the locks, confiscated and sold all of their inventory because they hadn't been paid in almost a year. And why they're not in business anymore.

MNAudi.com was started or run by Chase or A&P.

Google A&P Auto Specialties MN ..... you'll find many tales like mine, some criminal, and there are also tales of negative comments on MNAudi being deleted due to the affiliation
