This is strange, any ideas.
I have been getting a VERY distinct smell of onions at random times for the last week or so. We cook with them on occasion, but the smell doesn't correspond with any cooking. Any ideas?

any history of seizures?
|
Funny story. I have a fear of needles. I've never given blood and not at least felt faint. Last week I had a physical for life insurance, out came the needle, nurse said I was out for 1.5 minutes flopping like a fish. I had to fast before tje physical, so I chalked it up to that. No history of seizures though, unless that counts.

out is one thing..
flopping is another.. don't suprised if they don't accept you.. she may 'noted' that.. if she did.. you now have a hx.. Rika |
During the q & a, history of seizures was asked. She said "that didn't count". What she noted could be a different story.

I'm going with sinus problems, only thing that correlates in the last week. |
In some folks BO smells sort of like Onions. Did you recently change your deodorant? ;)

The only stuff that really stands out on a web search for stuff smelling like onions is vagina. Assuming that's not your problem, I don't know what is. Just in case, maybe you should check it.

Epileptic Seizure? Oops sorry, that is for the smell of burned toast.

If i truly thought I truly thought I had a seizure, there is no way as a professional I could forget it at my flight physical. With no history of seizures, my phobia of needles, and trying to fight off a cold I think I can reason this away. That being said, I'm going to run it by my doc, just not my flight doc.

You don't 'flop like a fish' for 90 seconds' when fainting, passing out, fighting a cold, malnourished or hypoglycemic. You flop like a 'carp on a concrete' when you are having a seizure.
