Did you guys see Mall Fountain lady?
Few days ago there was a youtube posting.
Came from cell phone video of security monitors in a shopping mall. Shows a woman walking and texting then falling right into a fountain. Funny. Well now dumb ass has herself a lawyer and has gone on TV about how the video embarrassed her and she may sue. Well first it could have been anyone in the video, the quality is so poor you can't make an ID off of it. So if she wanted to remain anonymous then stay off TV you dumb *****. Oh yeah, take some responsibility for not paying attention to where you are going. Fountain Lady: 'Nobody Went to My Aid'

Every time they play it on the news I can't help but laugh. Because of the quality, I expected the woman to be a teenager to be so unaware. Guess not.

What's more embarrassing? Falling into the fountain or going on national television and saying what she said? "Do not text and walk, especially to the younger generation."
Attorney guy has got to be proud of standing up for those who can't stand on their own

Whiny beotch, "nobody went to my aid". And all of her other issues, now suing because she was embarrassed.
THAT'S what's wrong these days on several levels.

I frequently think that people can't get any stupider. And then they amaze me.

We need to ban texting. Yeah, that's the ticket.

I'm sure that "The Reverand Jessie Jackson" will now put his two cents worth in and get some help from "The Reverand Al Sharpton" to boot. This is UNREAL.

Yet more proof that the most important thing to bring with you when you go out is a towel.

They should ban texting and driving at least...think what this lady could of done behind the wheel. Phones should have GPS motion detectors that disable texting when in movement...is that too big brother?

This is exactly why she didn't get helped...because people like her sue the people who help other people.

Her angle on this ("oh, I fell, let's sue!") is so 1900's.
This is the 21st century. Celebrity sells, and she is now a celebrity. She should have hired a publicity firm, a marketing firm and a booking agent, not some sketchy personal injury lawyer. Her "brand image" is now forever ruined, and she's lost her best chances of cashing in (while having some fun). |

EXACTLY! You remember that guy (Hung?) on American Idol a few years ago who was absolutely atrocious? The guy had vocal cords like a castrated frog - he was just awful. But he played it up and got to be a 15 minute celebrity . Even made some money on it.
This chick could have parlayed what she did into all kinds of fun things. She could be a spokesman for "don't walk/drive/eat and text" Or an SNL skit or the dangers of modern malls, etc. But she blew it completely by being a little sniveler who was so self-engrossed in her little hurt feelings that she missed the only opportunity she would have gotten. angela

Over one's lifetime, one only makes maybe 4 or 5 really critical, life-altering decisions.
This was one of them for her. She could have had a blast. But that horrible TV appearance with that lawyer did it in for her, forever. Such bad advice. |
