I don't understand how people can get dragged into these scams.

Greed, plain and simple. They think they're going to make an easy 10%.

Pls they may not be the "Sharpest knife in the drawer" and think its real.

Friend of mine just let herself get drawn into a pyramid scheme selling VOIP internet video phones. Cost her $500 and now she is at the bottom of the pile trying to get other suckers in the mix so she can make her $$ back.

Not IMHO the brightest decision but its all hers...
