New 901Shop Website (critique my web skills)
Guys, I helped my friends at 901Shop setup their new website. Not being web programmer it was not as easy as I thought......
What do you guys think? www.901shop.com |
I like it!
|
Cool thanks.
The only problem I've found is getting it to open with IE9. I hope they never deploy it as per the current beta. |
I hope Peugot's okay with the name.
|
Good one Charlie. The bad thing with the name is that some people assume that they only work on air cooled cars...

Nice work for your first time.
I might suggest in the future working on top of one of the many content management systems. Dropped you a PM, motorsports websites are a big part of what my company does. (see link below).. |
Cool Chris. Let me look at your PM.

Showed the site to my wife (her line of work) and she had 2 comments:
The top navigation bar needs to be the same size font (or larger) than the side navigation font as it is the most important navigation bar. This second is not that important but she felt the top picture should not resize with the frame. Set a size for it and keep it there. But, if you choose to keep it as is, there is some detail to the left of the image (looks like a smudge or something) that distracts from the look. You might not see it on a smaller screen but we saw it on her and both of my screens. |
Thanks Neil (and Neil's wife). The smudge is a part of the photo that I must block off; the photo was a much large one from where we picked a small "cloud" out of it.
I'll look into the font sizes and resizing of the photo. Thanks! |
Our pleasure.

Nice.
I did notice... The email link shows as 3 parts not one item. Did not click to see where it leads. |
Jim,
That's a weird thing. I have reset that link at least 5 times and the same thing always happens. all 3 link correctly. Thanks! |
