Made up a year in 6 months
My son has made up a year of his hearing and speech deficit in six months. He is still behind, but this is the first time the gap didn't grow.
My wife and I have been pushing him kind of hard, but it is paying off. |
Good news!

That's great news! I have a 6 year old daughter who is deaf in 1 ear and she wears glasses for a lazy eye. Last year she almost was held back in kindergarten because she was behind. This year in 1st grade, she is doing great. We do have to push her to do her work. The amazing thing about kids is how much more they know and understand than we think they do.

Great news! Keep up the good work, and keep the aids in his ears!! (or on his head, I can't remember if he's got boomers, or a magnet in his head)

Woohoo! Way to go Raymond!

Good Job. Keep up the great work.

Those results are cause for formal celebration. A trip to Baskin-Robbins is called for and if he wanted to bring a friend, I would approve. Further, the cause of the celebration (substantial progress on the test scores) should be mentioned at some point while the ice cream is being consumed. In my humble opinion. Congratulations!
