Things that make you go hmmmmm...

I just love 3rd world ingenuity, at least it's always good for a laugh. Sometimes people can actually be pretty brilliant in making something from nothing, (or very little). This one just makes me scratch my head, though...

When I think of the energy it took to "fabricate" this, couldn't he have just gotten a used shell for $50 or something?

Looks hilarious from behind:

He had that stolen van, he had to do something with it.

kaisen 02-01-2011 04:44 PM

Nice Epsilon 3 pc wheel there though

pete3799 02-01-2011 04:55 PM

Fits like a glove.

speeder 02-01-2011 04:56 PM

Van probably needed a new starter and he just said fk it and cut it in half.

widgeon13 02-01-2011 05:01 PM

Ha ha, that's somebody's home you're talking about there.

Way to go, making fun of a handicapped person. I'll bet you're real proud of yourself.

What makes you think that he's handicapped? The fact that he's sitting in the HC spot outside of AutoZone? I've seen him walk, he's no cripple. A little stupid maybe but that's about it.

Hugh R 02-01-2011 06:16 PM

I didn't see an HC stick on the vehicle, you are assuming facts not in evidence.

kaisen 02-01-2011 06:17 PM

Could be mentally handicapped?

stomachmonkey 02-01-2011 06:22 PM

Is that a CA plate?

How does that pass inspection?

Must have the correct cat.

BeyGon 02-01-2011 06:37 PM

It's old and square, might be a pre 74 truck.

drcoastline 02-01-2011 06:46 PM

I know this is a fun tread but... In reality thats what he had to work with. First he probably doesn't have $50.00 to feed his family. So again while this is a fun thread whom ever is driving this vehicle that is probably the best thing in his life. But then again he is probably happy.

What inspection? They do smog checks here, not inspections. Don't even need to put mud flaps on your dually.

Noah930 02-01-2011 09:04 PM

What Tobra said. As long as your engine compartment looks stock and the car passes smog, that's all that matters. No lights, no mirrors, no tread on the tires? No matter.
