They spent money to make it look like... That? WTF?

I'm not buying it that it handles great. Not enough camber in back...

porsche4life 02-01-2011 05:22 PM

Shouldn't that be in green?

Read the questions, everyone drooling over the girl... Definitely not that great.....

onlycafe 02-01-2011 05:23 PM

"Engine tin is handmade from a surplus of Bosch aluminum signs."

is that good or bad?

A930Rocket 02-01-2011 05:28 PM

Sorry. Let me edit my post.

The chick is pretty hot....I wonder if she looks as good under the hood as the car!

UconnTim97 02-01-2011 05:35 PM

My word, that girl is not hot...

;)

Wouldn't want that battery sliding around, could make for some real fireworks!

Ok, I see the joke, but where's the punchline? For some reason I think Sniper would be all over this.

Scuba Steve 02-01-2011 06:41 PM

So the value of this one is... whatever the parts would sell for minus the cost to transport the car to your location for disassembly after winning the auction?

Seems like they could get about the same look by leaving a car out in the desert for 10 or 15 years.

holtjv 02-01-2011 06:44 PM

Would I buy it? Hell no. But I can appreciate the guts and creativity to finish it with that look.

HardDrive 02-01-2011 06:45 PM

I don't even understand what I'm seeing here.

To call something a 'project' would mean that it has a future that involves 'completion'. For god sake, chop the damn thing up and put it out of its misery.

sc_rufctr 02-01-2011 06:53 PM

The VW guys have been doing this with Mk1, 2, 3 Golfs and others for years

If you asks me I think it looks cool. But not practical without air suspension. (that doesn't mean I want to own it ;) )
To each their own I say.

It says 1" off the ground. How can you drive it without scraping the front, back or bottom off? Or do you even drive it?

Evans, Marv 02-01-2011 08:47 PM

Bet it can't even be started with that chain over the positive & negative posts on the battery.

+1 This is not for everybody's taste, sure as hell isn't for me...
But this is not random fiddling, this is a thought over look/appearance.
On a certain level, I can appreciate it.
