Need a clear QAM TV tuner
 

Here's the deal, I'm cheep. I don't want to pay for cable, and I get my TV over the air for the most part.

I do use cable for my internet though, and I have found that they send some unencrypted/unfiltered channels over this signal. My newish TV has a QAM tuner that allows me to get these channels, but my older TV doesn't.

I am looking for an external tuner or maybe a DVR that has the required QAM tuner built in. I have found a few PC based tuners, but I don't really want to tie it in to my PC at this point. I'd also like to be able to use it with my projector from time to time.

Oh, and I don't want to spend $200 bucks for this either... :D

Something like this Toshiba DR570 is along the lines of what I need. But it is more than I really want to spend.

Any experience here?
