Should I watch the superbowl?

I have to work tomorrow. I can do it in the study or in front of the tv. The superbowl is tomorrow. If i watch it, my work will probably take an hour longer.

I haven't watched a superbowl in 10 years maybe. Is this going to be a good game? Worth spending an extra hour working?

I like watching football okay enough, but seems like every superbowl I watch is a bad game?

If for nothing else, for the commercials. The previews that I have seen so far are excellent...

I think it's going to be a pretty good game, worth watching IMHO..

I usually know by the half.....

Record it... that way, if the game is a suckfest, at least you'll be able to fast forward to the ads. :)

We only watch one game a year so we make it the SB. A short walk to the neighbor's for it this year.

I used to only watch ads, but now I can watch them online in advance...

Battle to be best Super Bowl commercial 2011 already raging: Meet the contenders

I'm going to TiVo it... Too much work to do today (Permit drawings due Wednesday). I'll catch the game highlights tomorrow or Tuesday if I'm all done - I could care less about the commercials. Even if they're good being marketed to is still a huge waste of my time. At least the plays will be somewhat interesting - I normally "watch" football games by forwarding snap to snap and can see everything in a typical game in about a half hour... And be fully qualified to discuss the game.

Enjoy whatever parts of it you enjoy guys!

I've never watched a game and never will. Life goes on...

Super Bowl is really mostly a social event.

My guess is that 99% of people watching it will be at a party, etc. A party at which at least 1/2 the people couldn't care less about football, but do enjoy a fun social event.

So if you don't have a party to be at to watch it, and aren't really interested in football, can't see why it would worth the time to watch it.

I'll be on the last day if a four day state swim meet. Then driving home 3+ hours, so no game for me (not that I'd watch it anyway).

We gig right after the game. We're assuming that our downbeat time will be flexible based on how long the game runs, if people in the bar are watching post-game, etc. Not sure if I'll watch or not. Been a long time since I watched a whole football game on TV. Last year the g/f and I rode out to Malibu. This year she's on a plan back from Hong Kong so I know she won't be watching it...

When I played in super bowl 2, it was a great time. I loved every minute of it.

Missing two great parties for the game today as I will be on an plane back from Park City. Oh well, the bears aren't playing and I strongly dislike both the packers and the steelers.

The half time show sucks big time!

What a waste of electricity.
