Success with reversal vasectomies?

Hi,

I am a bit scared but planing on a surgery procedure to reverse the vasectomy my former girlfriend had got for me.

Has anyone exeprienced the reversing of vasectonomy?

I am very scared of this but not so much as to avoid having babies with new women. The cost is no objective, I just want to hear what others on this board have done.

Are you successfully getting the sperm returned?

Didn't you have some baby batter frozen first?

You need to see a psychiatrist first.

Not been thru it but a buddy of mine has - twice. He says it hurts way more than the snip does, but is bearable.

Mike Holloway.

Depends on how it was done. I had mine done by a urologist who had me sign a form indicating I knew the procedure he was performing was irreversible (he cut out sections of the ducts). Not all vasectomies are reversible.

I would not recommend it, m8.
Was painful, hella bother (ointments, etc.), and did not work ultimately.

Went the adoption route, which has worked out fine. All other activities of daily life (hiking, swimming, frottage) are unaffected.

Good luck.

Twice?

My brother had it done, it did work and it did hurt, a lot.

He now has a beautiful 10yr old boy.

But unfortunately he's dead and the kid is fatherless. Life's a *****.

Let's cut to the chase.

The milkman is your father.

The success rate depends a lot on the time since you had them snipped.

Good luck,

Should be fine....just make sure someone doesn't slap you in the cratch for a couple weeks, or you will be in severe pain.

+1! twice??? Maybe he should try other means of birth control, like condoms and stuff.... :)

Never been snipped, so no useful advice to offer.

Ouch! That, and the suture removal.
