Dentist Question with pic
 

My son lost an upper tooth tonight and now there is this thing hanging down. Looks like part of the gum. Is this normal or should I be taking him to the dentist tomorrow? Since our dentist is closed tonight I thought I'd try here tonight to calm his nerves. TIA!

It's fleshy. Real soft, he's flipping it around with his tongue..

Normal. It will go away in a few days.

No problem. Obviously, if there is any pain or something just doesn't feel right after a few days see your dentist.
