Got a new family member
No, not another kid. ( have enough of them...)
Bella! Rescued her from a shelter. 8mo old Boxer/Shep mix. She came from a kill shelter in SC. A local place up here had her. We had her for a week, to make sure she was ok, and that our dog was good with her. Decided we are keeping her!  Here she is the day my wife spotted her.  Happy at home now.  Her and Toby are now best buds.

Although , riding in the truck, Toby makes it well known that the console is his! He has to sit next to dad!

We have always found two are easier than one...and three is one too many! Our Red Healer is very much my wifes dog...NO ONE sits up front but Cassie  Nice looking animals.

Black one found my brother, decided he was my wife's dog. Light colored one hopped into Mom's Caddy one cold and rainy day, Dad was less than pleased about the muddy dog/leather upholstery combo. Dog decided she was mine after not working out with a few other homes my brother found for her. Two dogs partner up, you just want the right one to be the dominant dog. With three or more, they tend to gang up on each other, 2 on 1.

Thanks guys! Shes an awesome dog. Great temperment, very obedient and well behaved.
From what I understand, her owners house was in forclosure. So the A-holes abandoned the house in the midle of the night and left her in it. The neighbors didnt realize she was in there until almost a week later. So they called animal control to come and get her. It fries my azz that anyone could to that to an animal. The only problem we had at first is the fact that she wants to play with all of toby's toys, and lay on his bed. He was freaking out at first, but little by little after a few days, he lightened up.

again well done V..
had a guy leave his 2 Rotts chained in the yard.. seems he got on post-quarters.. tracked him down.. parked my butt in his Cdr. office... local LEO's filled charges.. Cdr. was a animal /dog guy.. it didn't end well for the a$$.. got the Rotts adopted.. Rika |

CUTE!
my brother already has an adopted great dane, "porsche" and a wired hair pointer.. yesterday, he decided it would be a good idea to adopt a 10 month old german shepard. LOL! dog was abused and is afraid of his own shadow..and of open spaces. my bro will bring the dog around for sure..but he is crazy.!

Vinny she's gorgeous!
Love that photo of Toby staking his claim on the console too .The new addition will give you lots of love for sure. There's something about rescue dogs; they seem to know you've saved them and give you so much love because of it. |
