I've been casually looking for a sport-oriented second bike to complement the GSA. Have a 2nd home near the mountains and it would probably be kept there. It's not been a priority, so enjoying the hunt. Looked at a Speed Triple (Triumph) that's got the top spot now, but not excited enough to jump in.

This could change all that. Not a Guzzi dealer for 100 miles+, but would deal with it for this bike. Looks like it's got some after-market stuff that probably wouldn't make production (Arrow exhaust, Harley-esque wrap, etc.), but a sex kitten of a machine otherwise.

Just checked their website....looks like a watered-down (uninspiring) version already for sale (cafe classic):

50 hp? Never mind.

My '86 VFR made 50% more than that before jetting and exhaust work, and it still feels pokey on the highway.

Garage
My 850 Guzzi LeMans had a lot low end grunt. That Clubman is a 700cc and looks to be an underpowered wannabe.
