Racks? Jugs? Dorks? Too silly

Right, then. OT is getting too silly.

Wow. Graham Chapman would be pleased at the power he still wields.

IMHO this form is not silly enough!

And I intend to stay here and act like a dork to keep it that way!

I had no idea you were gay!

Do catty cliques like fish?

It's late, rum inside.... Oh well, whatever, I guess...

Full Frontal Nudity never gets old.

Okay, forum advice (not just for this one).
1 have a thick skin.
2 your opinion will not be shared by every one.
3 It is the differences in people that make life worth living.
4 Taking your ball and going home will solve nothing, because when you come out to play with the other kids, you will find they play the same way.
5 Just be a duck, and let it roll off your back, like water. (see 1 )

It is not that homosexuals are not welcome. It is just that, in my opinion, they are not the type of people who spend hours wrenching on a 30 yr old greasy motor and enjoy it. And this, after all, is what really makes the core of this forum, OT or not. And of course, my opinion may be wrong. And also, I do not see the need to broadcast ones sexual preference on a car forum anyways. There must be gay forums for that...

I must not be as sensitive as some here because I've only been offended by a post or two and one guy is long gone and another will be soon. Only 1 person on my "ignore list"... Keep it light and don't take things so seriously, that's my motto...

+1 on that. One person on my ignore list only. Everything else pretty much rolls off the back.

I don't care if anyone I talk to on this forum is gay/lesbian or transgender. I really don't give a rip. It's not an issue for me in real life nor is it an issue for me on-line. People are people. I either like talking to YOU or I don't. As it turns out, everyone on this forum (except one cheeze whiz) is on my LIKE list.

However, sexual preference is flaunted constantly here by the best bosom, best panties, best gams, etc threads. I wonder how the forum would react to a best bulge or best six-pack thread.

There are certainly some people who are over the top in their posts - kinda like real life. As someone who took a ton of abuse early on, I can say that in general people need to have a thick skin, have the ability to laugh at themselves, and must learn to differentiate between people whose opinions you respect and those that serve more as comic relief. PPOT is actually a good training ground for interpersonal relationships in the real world. If you take everything at face value, and are unable to take some good-natured (and yes, sometimes cruel) ribbing in PPOT, you likely won't be able to take it in the "real world" as well. In the end this is a much safer place to learn those skills, and frankly, this community never fails to rise to the occasion when one of their own is in need. It is a family, and like all families, there is plenty of dysfunction. A lot of the really nasty comments are removed, but this group will have its own tendencies. I don't think you can expect a bunch of mostly DIY car guys to be talking about what vacuum is best.

Oh wait...

Well I suppose that all depends on who is doing the reading! ;) I, personally, would have no problem with a nice six pack, man-leg, etc. Good heavens, why do you think I ride bicycles so much?

Man legs ROCK!

Not the best place for those that are too sensitive. Oh well, that's why Oprah started her new network. The one that got me was posted about a past departee who recently returned, "Oh, he'll be back again, but on his OWN terms!" WTF does that mean?
