Petrol heads in England, what to see?
I'm in Darlington England for the rest of the week on business, and have Saturday off to visit what I want.
Anything good for a die hard car guy to check out while I'm here? Thanks,

Not much to recommend in the North East where you are.
Best I can recommend is rent something fun and explore the North York Moors. Some good driving to be had eg: Google Maps |

Donington Park is about 2 1/2 hours south.
A bit closer is: The Darlington Railway Centre Darlington Railway Centre & Museum in Darlington - UK Attraction There are some fantastic roads in the area, though they might be a 'bit slippy' this time of year. Happy trails. Les

We were just a mile or so away from that spot on our drives around the Moors. We had been through Bransdale and Farnsdale on our way to Rosedale Abby, then north to the Exe valley and back to Osmotherley, where we were staying. I see you're a bit west of there. Closest we've been to you, aside from a turn through the Lake District, was a visit to White Scar (I think my knees still hurt from that). Cheers Les
