That is the reason why I had to stop watching the local news in the morning. If I took anything they said seriously, soon enough I would have become agoraphobic. The newsertainment was getting out of hand.

7x24 hour news was the worst thing to happen....

I would completely agree w/ that. They (media) fabricate or expand on any thread of a story to get readers and attention. 24X7 just made it that much harder to deliver a legit news story.

"The Sun let loose one of the most powerful eruptions to date in 2004". Im not sure about you folks, but I'm just fine now in 2011. This stuff is just someone saying something about anyting to keep their jobs. If all ends, it will end for all of us and there won't be anything we can do about it. Keep the smiles going and go to work tomorrow.

They're probably looking for some grant money and needed this story for ammunition.
