Rebuilt 3.2 by Motormeister
This looks like a great deal!! What do you think!? j/k...i know NEVER to buy motormeister.....but couldn't resist. |
I don't see how you could go wrong. They have 100% positive feedback on fleabay.

How is this guy even still in business?

There's a sucker born every minute...

How does he have 100% positive feedback?
|
How do they get that 100% feedback?
|
I talked with a MM wrench, once. He admitted that he would be surprised if they put in $200 worth of parts (his words, not mine) into a rebuild.
|
Whenever I see a 911 for sale with a painted fan I just stop reading and go to the next ad.
It's too bad they do such a bad job. They could do lower priced quality rebuilds simply by buying the parts straight from the manufacturer and in-house machining and doing lots of rebuilds rather than be a normal shop. Jackson |
He hasn't sold anything on ebay since Apr of 2005

I think this is the "hand grenade thread" all over again. :)

Now, the important part has already been mentioned. MM has not recorded feedback as a seller since April of 05. Any negatives are six years old and off the radar of eBay feedback. What a crock. |
Normal parts replacement includes new piston rings. I'm sure they install new rings regardless of how worn the ring lands are. This is probably why all of they're motors start smoking after a few months.

Who in the WORLD has over 100 porsche engines in Stock???

My former boss sent a 964 engine to them for rebuild, it's currently in progress. For his sake I hope they actually get one right. The crazy thing is that he knows about the reputation, but can't resist the cheap price.

Very scary...

"Our auction is for rebuilding "YOUR" Porsche 1984-1989 3.2 motor, if it’s together or all apart does not matter! "
That auction is for your engine to be sent to them for rebuild. Maybe they can keep a good rating because they are selling a service? It is really just an advertisement. |

Negative/Neutral Feedback received by motormeisterinc Still it's surprising it's not worse... |

Selling items you don't own is not a crime on eBay. A few years ago there were a bunch of clowns selling magazine subscriptions and pocketing the money. eBay said it was fine unless a buyer complained. I told them I guarantee a buyer will complain, because I'm not sending them any magazines. They would sell subscriptions for 25% of the list price and disappear after 12 weeks (" wait 8 to 12 weeks for your subscription to start.") Tney and eBay had the money and stuck me with the pissed-off customers. eBay didn't care. |
