Watched this last night and it's now up on ABC iview here. I'm hoping you guys can access it as it is a fantastic doco.
ABC iview "In 2009, flooding rains ended the worst drought in history for the eastern half of Australia. Reporter Paul Lockyer returns to Lake Eyre 12 months later to investigate the floods sweeping across southwest Queensland." It show much more than that...I got tingles seeing the footage of the mouth of the mighty Murray River with lots of water flowing through it for the first time in many, many years. Lake Eyre under water just has to be seen to be believed. Seeing it like this in person is a bucket list item for me ![]() Cheers, Lisa |

Lisa, I opened the site but the video seems to blocked for those outside AU. Something about copyrights.

Well this just sucks
![]() I should have checked first before posting; I'm sorry...it is just such a great piece of film I wanted to share... From the ABC site: "ABC iview is geo-blocked, which means that you can't access the programs from overseas. This is due to programming rights management, which prevent us from making this content available in markets other than Australia." Maybe it will pop up on one of the doco or nature channels in the future for you guys...I sure hope so. |
