I have time....Where to go?
 

I have had people tell me where to go in the past, but I am looking for a vacation spot for the last week of April to take my family. (wife/son+me)
Looking for an all inclusive for just a week or maybe 10 days.
Wondering where you have been that you enjoyed.

Will probably do another few weeks during the summer. The best thing about being an instructor is July and August... ;)

Well if I was from the Great White North I'd grab my banana hammock and head to the Caribbean or Cancun.

Have sock, need speedo! ;)

how about driving around the southwest US National Parks

May is best month in the Caribbean. Stay on one island for 4 days, do a short flight to another for 4 days

May is also great for doing Central America


maybe start with checking out Tours, small ship cruises, river cruises and family travel adventures at Tauck.com

I just got back from Yucatan. Had a hoot riding a 4-wheeler and checking out the old ruins. Cheap to go there now too.

My little guy is 3 years old, so looking for something that is pretty safe and a minimal number of flights.
I like the Cancun area and the west coast resorts (PV Mazatlan etc) are OK.
Have any of you done the family style resorts?

Club Med in Guadeloupe is a family place. They take the kid in the am for the whole day and not only entertain him, but at the end of the package all the kids put on a play for guests.

decent shopping for the bride close by

beaches are ok and good enough

nice looking island if you drive around or bus it

has a French twist as direct flights to Paris if i remember correctly. It's not like you're going to an American place

Grand Canyon, Sedona, Petrified Forest, Sequoya National Park. Need a car for that.

If your 3 year old hasn't been there yet I would probably do Disneyworld and all the other theme parks in Orlando, FL. Fly in rent a car etc..

Or Disneyland in CA.

I've stayed at both. WDW in Orlando is a better choice. Not much in Anaheim, CA.
