Please, somebody make it stop!

I am sick of this $..ty winter. It snows every f......g day. We are runing out of room and the piles get higher and higher. I took my car out (into the driveway) just to try and cheer myself up, it helped a little. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1298486004.jpg

There is a complete lack of dirt and oil in your engine compartment. You need to run it more often...

Esel Mann 02-23-2011 09:57 AM

You car just messaged me, it wants to know why it like the rest of Canada is not sunning down here in FLA waiting out winter.

So you think that's a lot of snow? When I was a kid....... B-)

I was thinking, "man, there is no dust at all on that motor."

porsche4life 02-23-2011 10:08 AM

Its almost like... You live in Canada or something...

yellowperil 02-23-2011 10:22 AM

And besides, look whats happened to my good looks from staying indoors all the time. I used to be happy, had good vision, shaved every day. Now I have to wear these awful glasses and my nose has trippled in size from too much drowning my sorrows. The glasses don't seem to help much either. Not sure I can last till summer. Can't afford to live in Florida no matter what my car says. Snow shovels, winter footwear, cold freezing weather. Bah! Drat!http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1298488916.jpg

onewhippedpuppy 02-23-2011 10:33 AM

Your car looks sad. Get some snow tires and have some real fun.

red-beard 02-23-2011 10:33 AM

Call Mike Holmes, he'll make it right!

Nor would you want to. A far better place to visit than live. Just about the time our cars come out of storage, their humidity kicks in & it lasts until we put them back into storage in November. My car was very happy to escape South Florida before it rotted. ;)

Just kick back & throw some Stan Rogers on the stereo until late March . . .

Even more snow last two days, have to dig out so I can get more gin. And maybe some rope. Could things get any worse.? And.... , Randy Quaid is moving to Canada. Just what we need.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1298735940.jpg

The other day I saw a photo of a church bulleton board, (must have been back East), it read... "Whoever is praying for snow, please stop." LOL the sign was half buried in snow.

Rikao4 02-26-2011 07:28 AM

should be above 80 tomm. down here...
A/C time already..

Rika

billybek 02-26-2011 08:12 AM

It was -29 deg C yesterday morning.
A balmy -4 deg C today.... Yippee!

pete3799 02-26-2011 02:42 PM

Only need another inch to set a record for the snowiest Feb. on record here.

jmaxwell 02-26-2011 03:10 PM

Already set a new low temp (-31F) and snowfall record here in OK. Granted it won't be of Vermont's standard, but still a record!

pete3799 03-21-2011 02:22 PM

Another 6 to 8 inches on the way today/tonight. Yahoooooo........not.

RWebb 03-21-2011 03:01 PM

damn warm weather is melting all our beautiful snow in the mtn. passes

I hope for just one more shot at pow pow.

flatbutt 03-21-2011 03:05 PM

only 3 inches today. the end is near.

t951 03-21-2011 03:07 PM

It was in the 80s today. My dog was cannonballing into the pool, which made it hard for me to not spill my margarita. At leasts the steaks sizzling on the grill smelled nice.

RWebb 03-21-2011 03:49 PM

I feel sorry for you guys who can only find water in liquid form.

ddbach 03-21-2011 04:07 PM

Astronomical Spring arrived late yesterday.
Two sure signs of spring have happened in the last 24 hours. Thunderstorms, thankfully not heavy wet snow to shovel, and I saw 2 Porsches today. A Boxter S ahead of me until it turned and a nice slant nose 911 outside the local mechanics shop.
Battery is on the charger, just need to move some boxes and I can wake mine up.

Rick Lee 03-21-2011 04:56 PM

It's raining here today for the first time in months. Should be back to the 90's and totally dry in a few days. I'll ride up to Prescott to see snow later in the week. Then I ride to San Diego where the weather is always great.

Margarita sounds good.

JavaBrewer 03-21-2011 06:16 PM

Tastes even better. Our rain is heading to AZ - skies are clear. I have thick cut pork chops on the grill right now.

That fresh/virgin snow sure is pretty though. I loving looking from a distance.

Pool water temp is up to 75. That would be above the Max temp summer time temp in upstate NY. I prefer it above 80 these days...

Cars rot in FL? The only rotting cars I've seen here are from "up North".

Now the bigger question is: why do Canadian men (e.g. "snowbirds") come down here wearing Capri pants? Did I miss the memo?? Are shorts out? Are Canadian men ahead of the fashion curve? Is this to make even more of a statement than your traditional black socks/sandals & Speedo beachwear?

red-beard 03-22-2011 04:56 AM

OK, that is what capri pants are. I don't think they are allowed in Texas, on men.

Well "men" do wear them here in FL, but typically it's the guys that want to date our brothers.

This season, when the snowbirds arrived, there was an inordinate amount of Canadians sporting Capri's...I guess they get a different edition of GQ magazine than we do...

Joeaksa 03-22-2011 07:46 AM

What is that white chit on the ground? We do not have ANY of that down here! Its cold here, going to be only 68 and sunny today...
