I have the receipt for the first " new" vehicle i ever bought.
A 1975 Plymouth Trailduster (ramcharger) with a 7 1/2 foot Meyers power angle plow for $7995.00. Todays price would be around what $35,000.00?

The "original papers" always add to the value of an item.

I have the original bill of sale for the 1969 Jag XJ that my Father bought. He paid $4500 for it.

I have every piece of paperwork from the day that Dad purchased the Monte Carlo Aerocoupe (that we later resto-rodded and returned to him when he thought it was long gone). Have every paper, the extended service policy, the delivery papers, factory warranty books, you name it.

It won't make it worth a penny more because the car is not now, nor ever, for sale. I'll be dragging it around the rest of my life - LOL!

My wife was clearing out some old papers and came across the bill of sale for a new Datsun
4x4 pickup I bought in 1980. $8000, one monthly payment.

Not the Bill of Sale, but....

I did recently find the owner's manual for my first car. It was a 1952 Ford 2dr Sedan w/flathead V8 and three speed with overdrive. My Dad bought it out of an estate sale in 1964 for $100.00!

That's too funny, Fred.. My first car was a '50 Ford, with a flathead V8 w/overdrive.. I paid $100 for it in 1963...
