I'm thinking about what I could do with a bunch of $80 10" tablets with decent spec and running Android 3.0
Glue a tablet to the wall in each floor of the house as a WiFi video-intercom Velcro tablets to the sunvisor of every car as a GPS navigator and backup camera display Paste a tablet to my hood range as a electronic recipe book Put one by my desk as a weather station with WiFi sensors Tape a tablet to the back of an aquarium for a changeable undersea backdrop Tape six tablets together in a frame as an electronic cork board in the kitchen Of course, this bonanza won't last long - until the liquidation supplies run out |
Bit late but I picked mine up today. This thing is great.
The keyboard is easy to use which surprised me. |
I ordered from Apple Canada Online. A work thing. Interesting to watch it travel.

I'm still trying to figure it out.. |
My wife (total technophobe) suggested we pick up an iPad 2 as our family Christmas gift, mostly because SHE wanted one. It may not be the best at everything, but anyone capable of using a PC can master an iPad or iPhone in 5 minutes. Having owned multiple Blackberries and played with lots of Androids, I can't say that about the others. Quality construction and a simple user interface is where Apple excells, and is the reason why we have 2 iPhones and a new iPad.

Love mine.

I've had my ipad2 for about 7 months. Its really nice to use. The upgrade to iOS 5 was really nice for ipad2 users. The multitouch app switch is awesome. If i'm out with someone and I add them on my iphone, when I get home the contact info is on my ipad. I don't use my for work or anything, but I could see how the company I work for uses them as much as they. They look good and perform very well.
