Anyone know about L. Zahnle grand pianos?
Just bought a 6-foot Zahnle grand piano. It's 6 feet wide, and black. It seems to be made in Vienna in 1890. Other than that, I know nothing about it. It was restored once, and recently tuned.

Six feet wide? Is it a square grand?

Your post says you have a six foot grand that's six feet wide. Most pianos I've played, except a Bosendorfer, are 88 keys and about 3'6" wide at the keyboard. I'm just wondering what kind of piano you have. Not sure why you'd be so abusive. Are you unaware of square grands?

First of all, no. It was probably made to play in a large hall. It has large candle holders. I'm waiting for the professional piano movers to get back to me about how exactly they can move it.
